:-) Actually the bridge is quite strong! I was tempted to backtrack and try to do a wheelie across it, if not for the pedestrian traffic that uses it ( after the mass). This shot was taken somewhere in the outskirts of Mintal, you'll know you are there on a Sunday, because the house before the bridge keeps on playing "Bob Marley and the Wailers", and could be heard a kilometer away. :-)

Almost, bro! ;-) Check out the layering... It will suffice to replace the old plastic coating with a harder, tougher one!.. and yeah! You got it right! The leaves of your choice part! I would have used cannabis silhouttes if it weren't "life imprisonment" in this part of the world! LOL! :-)

Hi! Its a trade secret, am sorry! hehe... but you may want to experiment on it, yourself. You'll need a primer, spray-paint, automotive paint or any lacquer-based paint(I used airbrush), and clear paint to coat the after-work. :-)If you own an old helmet, use it for starters. :-)

I can give you instructions, just send me a message thorugh this account.

Well... DJ-4x frames sells at 5500 to 6000 php.

Anyway, yung single-track.. I do not know kung standard yung SL1 or a higher, stronger component... pero ganito kasi yan. Sinumulan ko sa Da Bomb na camouflage Tribal Bar... then Lumabas itong limited ed na single-track... Hehe! Had to buy it! Para bumagay sa handlebars! Anyway... matibay... and it does the purpose! Make my bike light, single-track ready, and pogi! LOL!

You guys should also check Da Rims of Da Bomb if possible! Orange Camo, Snow Camo, and the new super-nova White! Ang Lupit tol! Tibay Pah! may plan nga akong bumili nang Hubs na super-nova white.

Anyway, with this bike... patapos na ito. Two more components ( The Super Nova white Hubs of Da Bomb and Shimano Hone Crankset) and its done... so I'll be changing the Pic in around two months time! LOL! :-) Remember: Buy wisely and ride your bikes with purpose! hehe... Oh! and spend the time to little-by-little collect DT Swiss triple-butted or Double-butted spokes... ;-)

Okay.. the Frame, I know is a Sick, Kick-ass frame! Oooh! Totem Fork! Slurp! Slurp! If that is a Specialized Resolution, Enduro, or a Later model.. those are great! great Tires! Power grips and very light! :-) I use them, too! However... I'm not quite sure of the whole set-up... Is it for trail or for Freeride... or XC? Well, if those are Sun Rims Rhyno lyte Rims I'm seeing... uhmm, better think twice before bombing them rims... those are actually made for XC or as a disposable rim for Downhill comp... but hmmm.

Two Cents: You have a very, very nice Bike! However, you really have to define what your bike will be. If you plan to use this for Trail/XC... Well, my upgrade suggestion would be: Sell the totem and look for a lighter fork? (its cool and all, but 8 inches is not complementing your air shocks which I bet is within the 5 to 6 inches range. I could be wrong though), Invest on DT Swiss triple-butted spokes. Unit-unti lang... you'll get there soon enough! :-), and the crank set! Yep! Deore is cool, cheap and strong but heavy. I'd say you should try saving up money for an Deore XT or LX.

If it is intended for Downhill/ Freeride/Urban Assault/Do-anything bike: Well, Invest on a better Rear suspension (Something with Coils in it and something that will play along the travel of your Cool Totem Fork!). Definitely, change those rims to something stronger! Alex Rims Double-wide, Da Bomb, or Sun Rims single-track, Double-track, Double-wide, S.O.S will serve you and your Jamis well. Of Course, the Crankset again... between Alivio, Hone, and if you plan to break the bank... hehe Shimano Saint! Raceface XC will also do. (I would detter against Holzfeller and any Truvativ Cranks... Bottombrackets get damaged easily... (I'm biased! LOL!). Loose the triple rings, slap in a chaineguide and a 40-tooth chainring! :-)

Lastly, if its just for cruising and for leisure rides... just stick with your current set-up. Hehe. :-) Pero, honestly, you'll be selling yourself short and will not be able to fully enjoy the full potential of your sick ride! "Ingit ako.." :-)

No problem Doc! :-) Mahal na nga ang piyesa ngayon.. pero given the time, money, effort, and a little bit of scouting and a stroke of luck.. I'll get there! Hehe! :-) Mas lalo na ngayon.. that Gas prices are sky-rocketing! LOL! :-)

Anyway, heads-up on the new sets of Da Bomb components! Ang ganda nang Super Nova White nila! Or the Golden Camo on wheelsets! You better check it out. :-) Also, you plan to get a new chainstay? Try out Specialized. Same quality as Lizardskin at half the price. I've been using mine for almost three years already and has undergone more than a dozen machine washes and it still looks brand new even now! hehe :-)

Uy Tol! :-) Anong, "batalya" ? Anyway, you posted a comment on my bike... so in fairview.. I Like the Kick-ass green! hehe... Another proud owner of a Vision Dj-4X :-) Who's the guy fuggin' you? Don't mind him.. its not the components, I tell you.. its how you ride it and how much fun you can get out in every session your foot starts to pedal. :-) Two cents... do something to protect your frame from your chains... :-) The sticker-chainstay that comes with the frame will definitely not protect your beautiful green machine from getting scratched by your chains once you go bunny hopping or downhill... :-)

Nice Doc! Hehe.. I am building on the same frame! Hehe.. nag comment ka dun sa dirt jump machine ko... thanks!

Nice Bikes! This one (Vision Cruizer) is the closest and cheapest thing we can get to an Ellsworth Moment! Killer ang angle! Hehe... Best thing about it... Its light enough to be built as either XC or Trailbike! I will be posting mine soon... Freeride ang set-up... I am still at the suspension stage...Fox DHX 5.0 coil ang shocks (6.5 Inches travel) and Manitou Stance triple Crown (6.75 Inches). Aside from that... all of my components will get Da Bomb components. Hydraulic brakes and Shimano Hone Drivetrain ang pinag-iipunan ko pa. :-) Oh! The rims will be Alex Rims Double-wide. Yep! My Cruizer will be a free-ride monster!

Anyway, you have a nice set-up...pero, doc if you plan to go Urban Assault on this baby, these are my two cents: Maxxis Holy Roller tires 2.5 (single-wall), truvativ 40-tooth chainring upfront (No need to confuse yourself with the rest of the other chainrings! Hehe), hehe, you won't need a granny too much in Metro Manila Traffic!.. and abuse the Duro! That fork is Strong! :-) Do a drop or two at any tall sidewalk you can run on... hehe!
